Doce De Côco (coconut candy)

in #dsound7 years ago

Greetings friends, in this new occasion, I bring you a song by Mr. Jacob Do Bandolin, It is not surprising that this musician, despite having contributed to aesthetic changes in Brazilian music, will identify himself with the traditional "Chorinho", and He resisted large-scale aesthetic changes. To have a more detailed understanding of Jacob and his work, we imagine that other musical works of this composer can be analyzed, as well as their interpretations and improvisations. His interviews tell a lot about his work, as well as written works on the subject. Jacob was a central figure in the "chorinho" and until today his influence is felt in the wheels and presentations. Maybe today we can better understand the importance of this man for the maintenance of this secular music as a Brazilian tradition, as an instrumental style that can transport us to a Brazil of the past, but without ceasing to be inserted in Brazil today.
