We Met in a Movie Scene (2011 Cheverly Demos) [DSound]

This is the second-to-last of my SoundCloud imports of the Cheverly Demos. I actually wrote this closer to the beginning of 2011 after I had first moved to Washington, D.C. The verses are pretty heavy on imagery, which is something I like to do in my lyric writing. The chorus plays on this idea of meeting someone in a way that can only be described as like something straight out of a movie. To follow on that theme, the chorus lyrics play on Casablanca and Jerry Maguire.

Again, please forgive the LoFi sound quality - it was recorded on a Blackberry Curve. One of these days I'll post something polished.
