RE: Dreams Are Paid With Steem - Turning My Greatest Wish Into Reality ▶️
So here you are... Hitting the Trending-Page! Congratulations!!! She deserves it. Why? I can tell you: She sees the real value of Steem. And she often posts content, that's also controversial and critic regarding Steemit. She has no fear and wrong respect, she is sharing her real opinion. Why does she do this? Because she cares about the community! Caring doesn't mean seeing everything positive. Caring means the will of figuring out, where the "between" is. And giving the best input to the community we can. She is an example for that. She is not afraid of conflicts. You don't believe this? Read her blog! She says, what she means. I appreciate her for this! Enjoy your success! Love, Katja
Oh, what a comment! Thank you so much :-*
Thank youuuu!! I'm a bit dizzy to be honest. If I had known that this one would shoot for the moon, I would've checked my hairstyle once more :-D
Thanks for your lovely words! You know me better than anyone here, so everything you said about my intentions is true.
I have to admit that it's not always easy to enter controversial debate, but I'd always favor a verbal sparring over silence. Only by pronouncing our wishes and aims, we have an actual chance to reach them.
Again, thanks for your amazing support, sweetie!!
Hairstyle doesn't mean a thing. What lies beyond the hairstyle is much more important! You look great enough to hit the Trending-Page? Nobody seems to care about your hairstyle? Steemit really doesn't seem to be Instagram! :-)
Haha great enough to hit the trending page :-D
I'm glad I didn't wear a sweatsuit or even pajamas!!
I think there are people on Trending, that don't even care about that? When we can learn one thing about value, than that it's not about how you look. Or shouldn't be. Let the hunchback of Notre-Dame be our king? ^^ Okay...but just, if he provides value!!! Shit what the heck is value?
I guess value is what we believe in.
I hope someday be like you
Hey Marly, how long did it take you to actually start making so much on each post instead of just pennies like our account :) Also, did you invest A LOT of money from day one to buy steem power? It seems like that is the only way to make any money on Steem (if you were not on Steem from day 1). Let me know your thoughts and thanks!
Hey! It took me around 4-5 months until I started to earn real money with my posts. What I did in the beginning was I studied the most successful bloggers and tried to learn from them. Also I tried to write about things that I figured were interesting to the majority of stakeholders. So instead of blogging about my own stuff I primarily tried to cover the community's interests.
I haven't invested in Steem so far and can't give you any recommendation in that direction. Crypto means speculation, so everybody should make their own decisions on where to invest their money :-)
Thank you for sharing, that is great advice and also much appreciated. Im wondering what your thoughts are on publishers like us (fun website) and this type of content? Do you think there is room for it, or do you suggest I post content that is more about my journey to grow my website. Im just asking since I have heard a lot of stories about people who kill themselves to create valuable content, but end up making nothing, and people wigh more resources and other tricks and tehniques end up making a ton. Any advice is appreciated, just want to see if I should focus the majority of our time on Steemit. Its scary to go all in and neglect other channels and get crushed because of who knows what.
Well whether a piece of content is valuable or not ultimately defines your audience (besides yourself through self-esteem).
There is room for everything, since there is an audience for everything. If I were you I'd do some research to find it out - like studying the relevant tags and finding out how many are actually moving within that specific segment.
It's always helpful to check first if there is actually a potential. If there is no niche to conquer, then you might probably keep going and find something else.
I can't tell you what to write about, since I would just tell you what I personally like, and that's not representative at all :-)
Thanks! Really appreciate the feedback!
She didn't invest a Cent. Just her time and nerves. I'm witness. XD
all my posts are controversial and critic regarding steemit and misinformation and brain washing.. ;) i guess that one needs balls to write something that majority might not accept as majority are always wrong due to mass brain washing done over the years and want to blend id and dont wanna look like a fool.. As for steemit its becoming more or less like the real world especially now, where yo need a whale friend or a whale relative or a whale bf/gf, or should know how to lick asses of whales in chat room and meetups or a programmer. im seeing too many stupid posts like just a photo of dinner or just a complaint making 100z-1000z of $$. Its sad that good contents are being ignored drastically. Removing the trending and hot page is the best way to give everyone a fair chance, as people will only look for the posts they want to, and not the posts that will make them earn some rewards just by upvoting..
You touched some important points, and that's been more or less what I was referring to when saying that I don't dare to stand up for my beliefs. There is a strong disequilibrium, and everybody is aware of it, including Ned Scott (comment thread of his today's announcement):
SMTs are supposed to become the solution to these deficits.
I'm not less emotional about the situation than you are, but I definitely will give SMTs a shot. Try to not look at the trending page too often in the meantime :-)
thanks, will look into SMTs. Yes, i dont go to chat rooms either, i find really fantastic posts on new. trending page is just about complaints a,d programmers, and same members all the time.. just got flagged by themarkymark for writing the truth.. all these people are making more money complaining about certain members.. id rather support haejin then them..
That would be an interesting experiment!!! No Trending and Hot for one month! I think the frontend isn't providing the values Steemit.Inc says it wants to provide. I hope they are working on it. Or it will be the hard way: maybe @dan makes a better and more SOCIAL media platform on base of EOS? Sorry @ned... that will just be the rules of liberty, the rules you provide...
Sooner or later there won't be any trending or hot pages anymore. It's been critized for too long. EOS will be just one of many competitors entering the market, which will definitely enliven the whole thing :-) May the best man win.
...grabs popcorn and watches the fight... (being aware about the deep importance of that fight)
like it
im making far more money trading in crypto then on steemit, even though i spend 2-3hours everyday on steemit, and only an hour trading. the reason is steemit is pretty addictive, and i enjoy writing blogs and commenting. Its a great platform, but its not about good content anymore, u can see the top 20 post, and you will understand.. i guess thats why Dan left it and concentrated on EOS. however i hold a decent qty of EOS.. ;) lol... Will continue posting true (controversial) content and comment on posts which i feel are stupid regardless of the fear of being flaged.. PEACE
Wow, this is amazing! Congratulations. I haven't seen any of your content before so we are complete strangers but I just wanted to say, well done and I'm so happy for your!
Thank you! :-)
A happy life
good one
Yes @brainnipper, @surfermarly is a woman of integrity and deserves all she is creating in this community. Being Authentic means speaking our truth, without concern of what other people will think. Afterall, we don't really know what they think, we only know what we think they are thinking!!
Thank you for the update.
I took a view on your blog. You already made this comment a couple of times. We call this behaviour spamming. Not even sure, if this is from you or if you copy/pasted it from somebody else? I am sorry, I had to flag you.
He copied @fredrikaa's comment from Ned Scott's announcement. Thank God my memory is still working well, I knew I had heard that "blue ocean we call crypto" thing somewhere already... :-) Flagged, too.
