Yes, so true! I used to live in Moscow, and when I moved there, was eager to find out what people ate on a regular basis. I soon learned about chicken cutlets. Beef cutlets, too. As you point out, Russians love to make large quantities of them and keep them in the fridge for the whole week.

In fact, every time I go to a supermarket now and see packages of "ground beef" or "ground chicken" (as we call it in America), i immediately think of cutlets...
