DTube Rocks!!! - Why I Think D.Tube Will Be The YouTube Killer!
Most of you might have heard of DTube already, which I consider to be the YouTube Killer in the long run. Being based on the Steem Blockchain it´s basically meant to go big but let´s take a more detailed look on why I think so 😉
Why DTube could be the YouTube Killer!
As I´m a huge believer into a very bright future for cryptocurrencies and especially Steem I´m as well seeing DTube to succeed in the long run over the current market leader YouTube. Let's name it, DTube simply rocks and there are many good reasons for people to use it:
- No Advertisements, Just Content!
Due to the use of the steem blockchain there's no need for DTube or the content creators to include advertisements at all. They get rewarded in an even better way and can therefore fully concentrate on creating awesome content rather than having to worry to fulfill all requirements in order to earn money through annoying their followers with advertisements...
- "Small" Guys aren´t left behind!
That's something that might make thousands of people move to DTube as the small and unknown creators are pretty much lost on YouTube no matter how good their videos might be. On DTube they'll finally get the chance to get rewarded in a proper way for their content!
- Followers are able to earn money, too!
It's something that wouldn't happen on any traditional platform but it will on DTube as followers are able to earn money through curation rewards and comments. That's in my opinion going to be a major reason for the masses to flood Dtube one day with new registrations.
Let´s take a brief look at the Platform 🙂
I don´t want to write a full review on all the features and functions of DTube but give those of you who haven´t heard of it yet a short insight. So in case you know the platform already please go ahead to the next chapter 😉
Whenever you open d.tube you may actually not see a very big difference comparing it to YouTube. Actually it´s pretty much the same in regards to its functions and design but that´s what I actually like as it´ll make it easier for people to just move over without having to get used to a completely different platform.

What Are You Waiting For? Join DTube Today!
So in case you already call a Youtube Channel your own I can only recommend you to publish your content on DTube instead in future. Doing so you´ll expose your videos to an awesome Community and will most probably earn more than ever before, especially as a newcomer in the video business 😉
After I´m speaking so positive about this project some might wonder why I haven´t started my own Channel on DTube yet? Well I really considered it many times already but am somehow just a scaredy cat in that aspect 🙈
But maybe it´s something for you to jump right in. I´m convinced that DTube will be huge one day and the ones getting successful on it today might be the stars of tomorrow. So in case you publish your first video on DTube within the next days let me know in the comments and I´ll stop by for a bonus upvote 😉

DTube is best for video content creators but as a viewer I'm just not satisfied with the buffering.. despite having such a high speed broad brand it just pisses me when it buffers.. Youtube's speed is very high.. yeah YouTube is mean to the content creators but as a viewer I can say Youtube's speed is very satisfactory.. so to kill YouTube DTube also has to focus on the viewers not just the creators
And make mobile uploads possible. Right now it's just pc uploads.
That´s most likely already on their agenda :) I see big things happening there over time :)
DTube is still at the very beginning and compared to YouTube they of course can´t stand a chance in regards to the technical setup in the background YET. Having read the official posts on it I really believe though that this will change significantly over the next months.
It has to potential to do better than YouTube in the future but that might take lots of years. Just like Steemit has the potential to do better than Facebook but then again everyone got hit by Zuckerburg's announcement on his interest on blockchain.. Imagine if FB introduces a digital currency..it will get so mainstream that it can kill fiat

I agree with you that DTUBE will be bigger than youtube. That's because dtube is easier in terms of terms. I myself have a youtube account and have filled a video with a total of about 300 videos, but the results have not met expectations.
Now, I'm starting to go to DTUBE in the hope that DTUBE will be great and I'm one of them.

I've seen more and more people using Dtube lately but have had a bit of trouble loading videos and watching others, gotta spend more time on it. It will be really nice to have an alternative to Youtube though, especially with the amount of censorship going on and the shitload of advertisements.

The advertisements are the most annoying. Especially those that are kicking in in the middle of a video like 5 times...

I totally agree on the #DtubeRocks part. But DTube won't kill of YouTube. Facebook can't even kill of YouTube. The follower/curator incentive is definitely a winner. And in my current experiment, I've already seen that DTube will give you bigger profits than YouTube. But, YouTube wins in durability (you still get paid for a video months after it is uploaded), search and the creators platform in general. We've got a long way to go :)
Why should Facebook kill YouTube? They are focused on totally different fields and therefore not working against each other. So I see DTube getting a significant market share in future :)
Why Facebook would want to kill YouTube? Because that's their style. Try to buy it first, if that doesn't work, copy a the key components and use their community to overpower their competitors with higher traffic.
They tried buying Twitter, couldn't, so introduced hashtags, they tried buying Instagram, they bought it. They tried buying Snapchat, couldn't, so introduced stories on all their networks. Now they are trying to launch Facebook Creators, just to compete with YouTube (or it feels like it).
Now I really need to check it out. I'm only a few days old here on Steemit but so excited about the platform :) Thank you for sharing.

you know just the fact that there are no adverts and you cash out your earning almost immediately... irrespective of the number of views!!! tiny drops.... it definitely is. so d-tube definitely has a bright future!! all hail to D-TUBE :-D
