ABILITY TO CREATE

19 OUT OF THE GROUND THE LORD GOD FORMED EVERY BEAST OF THE FIELD AND EVERY BIRD OF THE AIR, AND BROUGHT THEM TO ADAM TO SEE WHAT HE WOULD CALL THEM. AND WHATEVER ADAM CALLED EACH LIVING CREATURE, THAT WAS ITS NAME.
20 SO ADAM GAVE NAMES TO ALL CATTLE, TO THE BIRDS OF THE AIR, AND TO EVERY BEAST OF THE FIELD. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him.”
Genesis 2:19,20 (NKJV)

God gave a responsibility to the man, Adam; He gave him a garden to tend and keep (Genesis 2:15).
Although the man was created a free moral being, yet there is no freedom without a responsibility. A freedom without a responsibility would be abused.
Another assignment given to the man after that of tending the garden was to name all the living creatures; and he performed well (Genesis 2:20).

God has created each individual with a potential or an ability to do one thing or another well: "IN HIS GRACE, GOD HAS GIVEN US DIFFERENT GIFTS FOR DOING CERTAIN THINGS WELL" (Romans 12:6 NLT).
All you need from God is a little gentle push, to swing into action on whatever He wanted you to do (Joshua 1:1-9).
God will move you, prompt you, as par what He wanted you to do; however, you have to respond positively, promptly, for the potential in you to be maximized (2 Timothy 1:6-8).

When God moves you to do a particular thing, you have to cooperate with Him by responding positively and promptly; not reacting against the instruction (Jeremiah 1:17).
You might not see yourself as someone who can do it, but God who created you knows you have the ability or potential to do it on the inside of you—He puts it there (Exodus 31:1-11).
If you refused to cooperate with God, the potential would remain latent, inactive, and you may not fulfil—be what God wanted you to be: “YOU DID NOT CHOOSE ME, BUT I CHOSE YOU AND APPOINTED YOU THAT YOU SHOULD GO AND BEAR FRUIT, AND THAT YOUR FRUIT SHOULD REMAIN, THAT WHATEVER YOU ASK THE FATHER IN MY NAME HE MAY GIVE YOU” (John 15:16 NKJV).

Whatever God is asking you to do, you have the potential, ability, in you; although latent, not noticeable or active at the present.
All you need to trigger off or set off the latent potential is God's motivation—a prompt from the Holy Spirit.
Adam might be contemplating if he would be able to do the task. But all along God knew he was able, because He knew the substance or stuff Adam was made of (Psalm 139:14).

“I CAN DO ALL THINGS [which He has called me to do] THROUGH HIM WHO STRENGTHENS AND EMPOWERS ME [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]" (Philippians 4:13 Amps).

God knows the stuff or substance you were made of, stop arguing with Him, take a step on the assignment; then you would see yourself doing what you think you could not do!

Adam gave names to all the living creatures that were created by God (Genesis 2:20).
God wants you to be responsible, He has given you the ability to do one or two things well; you need to respond to the urge He puts in you and start working (Exodus 31:1-6; Romans 12:6-8)
God does not want you to be idle, you are created to create; you have creative ability in you (Genesis 1:28; Exodus 31:1-6).

If you walked with God in the light of His Word, He will illuminate, enlighten, your mind to know hidden things that could set you up, put you at the top in life (Psalm 32:8; Isaiah 48:17; Ephesians 1:18).

9 “BUT AS IT IS WRITTEN: “EYE HAS NOT SEEN, NOR EAR HEARD, NOR HAVE ENTERED INTO THE HEART OF MAN THE THINGS WHICH GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM.”
10 BUT GOD HAS REVEALED THEM TO US THROUGH HIS SPIRIT. FOR THE SPIRIT SEARCHES ALL THINGS, YES, THE DEEP THINGS OF GOD.
11 FOR WHAT MAN KNOWS THE THINGS OF A MAN EXCEPT THE SPIRIT OF THE MAN WHICH IS IN HIM? EVEN SO NO ONE KNOWS THE THINGS OF GOD EXCEPT THE SPIRIT OF GOD.
12 NOW WE HAVE RECEIVED, NOT THE SPIRIT OF THE WORLD, BUT THE SPIRIT WHO IS FROM GOD, THAT WE MIGHT KNOW THE THINGS THAT HAVE BEEN FREELY GIVEN TO US BY GOD.”
1 Corinthians 2:9-12 (NKJV)

Obedience to God by walking in the light of His Word that you know, sharpens your ability to see clearly the plans which God has for you.
Sin will blur your ability to see. When you live in sin, you will not be able to see clearly, sharply—your seeing eyes, eyes of understanding, become blurred.

When Adam rebelled against God, committed a sin, he discovered his nakedness (Genesis 3:6,7).
• When you begin to live contrary to God's Word, you discover your emptiness—nakedness:
6 SO WHEN THE WOMAN SAW THAT THE TREE WAS GOOD FOR FOOD, THAT IT WAS PLEASANT TO THE EYES, AND A TREE DESIRABLE TO MAKE ONE WISE, SHE TOOK OF ITS FRUIT AND ATE. SHE ALSO GAVE TO HER HUSBAND WITH HER, AND HE ATE. 7 THEN THE EYES OF BOTH OF THEM WERE OPENED, AND THEY KNEW THAT THEY WERE NAKED; AND THEY SEWED FIG LEAVES TOGETHER AND MADE THEMSELVES COVERINGS" (Genesis 3:6,7 NKJV).
• As you live in sin, you will no longer see as God sees again; your perspective, viewpoint, about life would be wrong.

To be creative and to fulfil God's plans and purposes for your life, you have to live right, walk in the light of God's Word.
The feat Adam performed, naming the animals and other creatures of God, became a thing of the past when he disobeyed God; because he disconnected from his source, God (John 15:5).
Sin will disconnect you from God who is your source; and break you up with God, Who is your source, and lead you to emptiness—failure, reproach and destruction.
Thus, flee from sin!

You will not fail in Jesus' name. Peace!
