THE PURPOSE OF CORRECTION 2

7 THEN AT LAST THE PEOPLE WILL LOOK TO THEIR CREATOR AND TURN THEIR EYES TO THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL.
8 THEY WILL NO LONGER LOOK TO THEIR IDOLS FOR HELP OR WORSHIP WHAT THEIR OWN HANDS HAVE MADE. THEY WILL NEVER AGAIN BOW DOWN TO THEIR ASHERAH POLES OR WORSHIP AT THE PAGAN SHRINES THEY HAVE BUILT."
Isaiah 17:7,8 (NLT)

The delight of God is that believers be an extension of His Kingdom on the earth wherever they find themselves.
If your life is contrary to His Word, the Bible, you are not a good representative or ambassador of God's Kingdom wherever you are.
God would not want you to put Him to shame or let Him down. If you did, you are a disgrace to His Kingdom.
God wants to be boastful of believers, be proud of us before the devil and the kingdom of darkness—He wants to vaunt or brag or be boastful of believers who live right before the adversary, the devil.
Using the matter of Job as an example, God said to the devil, have you noticed My servant Job, a man who eschews evil:
"THE LORD SAID TO THE ADVERSARY [Satan], “HAVE YOU THOUGHT ABOUT MY SERVANT JOB; SURELY THERE IS NO ONE LIKE HIM ON EARTH, A MAN WHO IS HONEST, WHO IS OF ABSOLUTE INTEGRITY, WHO REVERES GOD AND AVOIDS EVIL?” (Job 1:8 (Common English Bible).
Afterwards, God permitted the devil to test Job, because he disputed what God said about Job:
9 SATAN REPLIED TO THE LORD, “YES, BUT JOB HAS GOOD REASON TO FEAR GOD. 10 YOU HAVE ALWAYS PUT A WALL OF PROTECTION AROUND HIM AND HIS HOME AND HIS PROPERTY. YOU HAVE MADE HIM PROSPER IN EVERYTHING HE DOES. LOOK HOW RICH HE IS! 11 BUT REACH OUT AND TAKE AWAY EVERYTHING HE HAS, AND HE WILL SURELY CURSE YOU TO YOUR FACE!” 12 “ALL RIGHT, YOU MAY TEST HIM,” THE LORD SAID TO SATAN. “DO WHATEVER YOU WANT WITH EVERYTHING HE POSSESSES, BUT DON'T HARM HIM PHYSICALLY.” SO SATAN LEFT THE LORD'S PRESENCE" (Job 1:9-12 NLT).

How many believers can God vouch or avow for, like He did of Job? Can God vouch, attest or avow, for you in the presence of the devil, the adversary?
It is evident, not every believer God would allow the devil to test the way He did of Job. If God did, many would deny Him and curse Him to His face, as the devil had said of Job. However, Job did prove the devil wrong.
A believer can prove to the devil that God is right, through the life that such a believer lives on earth.
God is watching you and you will give account of how you spend your days on the earth (Romans 14:12).
God's discipline or chastisement is a provability of His love. To be sure of God's love, you must be a believer who receives His discipline or chastisement or penalization regularly.
If you were not disciplined or penalized when you erred, you would need to check your life, something must have gone wrong and that indicates a serious danger.

If you are not being chastised when you missed it, It means God has left you to yourself to do whatever you like. Know that If you remained in that state without a genuine repentance and God surfaces again, He would without doubt come with a severe Judgement.
If you are a professed Christian, a born-again believer, but your life is not right, you have some secret sins in your life and it seems things are well with you. I want to implore you to repent and change your ways, because Judgement is ahead.
The judgement being referred to here is not about the last day, but here on the earth:
17 FOR THE TIME HAS COME FOR JUDGMENT, AND IT MUST BEGIN WITH GOD'S HOUSEHOLD. AND IF JUDGMENT BEGINS WITH US, WHAT TERRIBLE FATE AWAITS THOSE WHO HAVE NEVER OBEYED GOD'D GOOD NEWS? 18 AND ALSO, “IF THE RIGHTEOUS ARE BARELY SAVED, WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO GODLESS SINNERS?” 19 SO IF YOU ARE SUFFERING IN A MANNER THAT PLEASES GOD, KEEP ON DOING WHAT IS RIGHT, AND TRUST YOUR LIVES TO THE GOD WHO CREATED YOU, FOR HE WILL NEVER FAIL YOU" (1 Peter 4:17-19 NLT).
A believer cannot be living in any habitual sin and be thinking he or she would not be sanctioned. No. Such a believer would surely be flogged that he or she might not be condemned with the world at the end: "BUT WHEN WE [Believers] ARE JUDGED, WE ARE CHASTENED BY THE LORD, THAT WE [Believers] MAY NOT BE CONDEMNED WITH THE WORLD" (1 Corinthians 11:32).
If you were given the opportunity to change but you refused, you failed to heed corrections after several repeated failures, then the judgement will come; and such judgement is always severe.

You will not die prematurely in Jesus' name.
If you are sick in your body, I declare your healing now in Jesus' mighty name.
That hold of sickness and infirmity are broken in Jesus' name.
Peace!
