YEARNINGS OF GOD

16 FOR IF I PREACH THE GOSPEL, I HAVE NOTHING TO BOAST OF, FOR NECESSITY IS LAID UPON ME; YES, WOE IS ME IF I DO NOT PREACH THE GOSPEL!
17 FOR IF I DO THIS WILLINGLY, I HAVE A REWARD; but if against my will, I have been entrusted with a stewardship."
1 Corinthians 9:16,17 (NKJV)

• If you had accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, your heart desires should be about His Kingdom on earth.

• You should be thirsting for His work. The way to God's Heart is to be passionate about His Kingdom—His work. Desire for souls. Also, about edifying those who have come to Him. If these are not your goals, you may not be able to walk with God intimately.
• Since two cannot walk together except they are agreed: "CAN TWO WALK TOGETHER, UNLESS THEY ARE AGREED?" (Amos 3:3 NKJV). For you to walk with God, what bothers Him must bother you, and what gives Him Joy should give you Joy as well.
• If how to better or transform the lives of others are not your concern, it means your friendship with God would not be cordial.
• God wants the lives of the people to be bettered. He wants them to come to Him and walk in His counsel:
  3 FOR THIS IS GOOD AND ACCEPTABLE IN THE SIGHT OF GOD OUR SAVIOUR, 4 WHO DESIRES ALL MEN TO BE SAVED AND TO COME TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH" (1 Timothy 2:3,4 NKJV).
• Whoever is willing to partner with Him in doing this, He delighted in such a person.

• Whatever it may be, work for God. Do something to help and bless others. Do not live for yourself, but for others.

• Do not allow the self to be enthroned in your life. Jesus said: "JUST AS THE SON OF MAN DID NOT COME TO BE SERVED, BUT TO SERVE, AND TO GIVE HIS LIFE A RANSOM FOR MANY" " (Matthew 20:28 NKJV).

• If I may ask a few things:
a. What are you doing to bless others?
b. What are you contributing to the betterment of others?
c. How many people have you impacted through God's Word and godly life in your days of living on earth?
d. How many people will miss you if you departed from the world today?
Know that the number of people that would cry and mourn if you departed today, indicate the impact you have made.

• Whatever you can do to help or better other people's life, do it.
a. Share what you have with others:
17 COMMAND THOSE WHO ARE RICH IN THIS PRESENT AGE NOT TO BE HAUGHTY, NOR TO TRUST IN UNCERTAIN RICHES BUT IN THE LIVING GOD, WHO GIVES US RICHLY ALL THINGS TO ENJOY. 18 LET THEM DO GOOD, THAT THEY BE RICH IN GOOD WORKS, READY TO GIVE, WILLING TO SHARE, 19 STORING UP FOR THEMSELVES A GOOD FOUNDATION FOR THE TIME TO COME, THAT THEY MAY LAY HOLD ON ETERNAL LIFE" (1 Timothy 6:17-19 NKJV).
b. Use your gifts to bless and help others because they are given to make profit with (1 Corinthians 12:7).
c. Be concerned about other people's needs.

• The little things you can contribute to the life and wellness of others matter most to God: "LET EACH OF YOU LOOK OUT NOT ONLY FOR HIS OWN INTERESTS, BUT ALSO FOR THE INTERESTS OF OTHERS" (Philippians 2:4 NKJV).
• Be enthused to do something for someone, and be a blessing to them (Galatians 6:9,10).

• You will not fail in Jesus' name.

• If there is any sickness in your body, I declare in Jesus' mighty name that you healed and made whole.
• The affliction will never rise again in your life and family in Jesus' mighty name.

STEPS TO SALVATION
• Take notice of this:
IF you are yet to take the step of salvation, that is, yet to be born-again, do it now, tomorrow might be too late (2 Corinthians 6:1,2; Hebrews 3:7,8,15).
a. Acknowledge that you are a sinner and confess your Sins (1 John 1:9); And ask Jesus Christ to come into your life (Revelation 3:20).
b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, Thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
c. As you took the steps A and B your name is written in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:8).

• If you took the steps As highlighted above, congratulations, It means you are saved—born-again. Join a Word based church in your area and Town or city, and be part of whatever they are doing there. Peace!
