$20,000 flash fiction contest
That's not a typo - the César Egido Serrano Foundation is running it's annual international micro-fiction contest, and will give one lucky author $20,000 for crafting the best story under 100 words. For the mathematically challenged, that's $200/word (there are three $1000 prizes for the non-winning entry in another language.)
No entry fee. Global recognition. All you need is talent.
