Placemats | The 3R-S30W1

Assalamu Alaikum friends, today I have come to share with you a placemat made to participate in the Steemit challenge season 30// week:1 competition. I am starting today's post by thanking you @lunasilver.

We always buy new things made of different types of fabrics from outside. However, we have different types of pieces of cloth or old clothes that we do not need. These are lying in a corner of the house. How many beautiful things can we make with those things by using our talent and creativity. Making something very beautiful from a small piece of cloth is a matter of creativity. And by highlighting this creativity, you have made and shared a very beautiful placemat with us and inspired everyone to participate in the competition. I am also inspired by your thing.

I am very new to sewing. But sometimes I make different types of things using such small things. And making this thing was easy for me. I have all the things that were needed to make this thing. That's why I thought of participating in the competition. But while making it, I had to face some challenges. Because when I cut the pieces of cloth and arranged them, how to sew them. Then when I sat down to sew, all the clothes got messy. And that's why I had some difficulties. Then when I watched the video on my mobile, I again understood which clothes should be paired with which clothes. Anyway, today I am sharing in detail how I made this thing below.

step 1 :

First I ironed all the clothes. Then I took a piece of red cloth and first marked the cloth on the cloth to cut evenly. Then I cut some clothes from this piece of cloth with scissors.

step 2 :

Now I have cut all the pieces from another piece of cloth in the same way. In this way I have made four types of pieces of cloth. All the pieces of cloth have to be made in the same way. Otherwise, they will become crooked while sewing.

step 3 :

Now I have arranged all the pieces of cloth in the way I will sew them. This will make it more convenient for me to sew the clothes. Then I took two pieces of cloth and sewed them together. First, I took two pieces of cloth from all these pieces of cloth and sewed them.

step 4 :

Now I have sewn two more paired fabrics together with the two fabrics to make a total of four fabrics. In this way, I have first sewn a line through all the fabrics. I have sewn all the fabrics in the same way as I sewed the first fabric.

step 5 :

Now I have taken one piece of cloth from the long lines that were joined and joined them all together. In fact, it is easier to understand this than to say it verbally, but by looking at the step-by-step pictures that I have shared.

step 6 :

Now I took a long pink cloth and attached it to one side of the mat.

step 7 :

This is how I attached all these piping to the sides of the fabric. This is how a beautiful placemat was made.

After making it, it has a beautiful look. I have placed a plate, bowl, knife, and spoon on this mat. This is a very useful thing that everyone needs in their home. And I have made such a beautiful thing with the pieces of cloth that I am surprised to see.
