Photo story - Graduation Day for my students
May 9, 2018, our school held a graduation day. This year we have graduated as many as 239 students. The children were very happy following graduation day. They wear toga clothes like graduates of a college or university.
Graduation is getting a diploma or academic degree or the ceremony that is sometimes associated with it, in which students become graduates. The date of graduation is often called graduation day. The graduation ceremony itself is also called commencement, convocation or invocation. Normally, the ceremony and name apply to high school and above. In recent years, graduation days have become a trend for every school here. Although the students did not get an academic degree, but this is just a reflection of the happiness of our children.
Before they were crowned graduates, they were gathered in a field and they walked to the school with accompaniment of rapai (our traditional music instrument).
Children walked together and their faces showed happiness, even though the sun was very stinging. There were even some female students whose makeup are faded.
Graduation day was also attended by parents. They sat in a place that we have provided. They would listen to the names of their children called to go up on stage for graduation.
The graduation procession took place in an orderly manner. A total of 239 students has been called to be crowned as a graduate of this school.
The day of the graduation was also filled with other activities, such as the creativity of students and teachers who want to sing on stage.
Students' creativity, whether singing or dancing, has become an entertainment for graduates.
Graduation day used by the teachers to take pictures together. As you can see below. Can you see me there?
Finally, these were the teachers who were assigned to graduate as many as 239 students. Hopefully our students can continue their education to the next level. We hope our students become successful people.
My children, remember your teacher. They will always be with you wherever you are.
Wonderful story, mate! I am English teacher myself, live in Thailand for a few years already and it's always very inspiring to see happy students! Following you now, have a good one!
Success for you @teukumukhlis, father / mother of all teachers. May they be proud children for us. ❤
Well done to give so many young people the chance to have a successful future! Nice photos of your students! :)
