Our view of nakedness, and how it needs to change

Nature is freedom... <3 Enjoy it while you can.

This picture is not meant to provoke anyone, it is meant to show that it’s ok to love who you are, and embrace how we were put into this world.
This is our body, our temple, and we should be proud of it instead of embarrassed.

Society has led us to believe that nakedness equals sexuality. This is NOT how it's supposed to be. Everywhere you see sexualized ads and references. Being naked isn't being 'pure' anymore. When you're naked, you are an object, and it's ok to objectify anyone who's naked. That's what they want you to believe. It's everywhere around us, sadly...
Probably there will be sexualized comments on this picture too, and that will prove my point even further.

This picture is part of the series we made for my first cd, Untold Stories. It is about Nature and life, so I wanted to show that the best I could. In a respectful way.

So I guess you could say this is my way of protesting in a non violent way.
Go out, do what you love to do, as long as it doesn't harm anything or anyone. Do what makes you happy and you will make others happy too.
You have this life, make the most of it and don't let anyone live it for you!

Elvya out.. :)

I completely agree with what you're saying here, people should embrace nakedness (and actually sexuality as well), but after centuries of oppressing forces (mainly church and "leaders") it will take a long time before we reach that stage again.
