Interesting article about the dead zone in the Gulf Of Mexico and what can be done about it. Fresh water diversions that flowed through the wetlands would do wonders for shrinking the size of the dead zone, like around the Atchafalaya Swamp. Right now too much of the River water is flowing straight into the Gulf. Let's try some fresh water diversions!
