Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger gave praise for Manchester United's classy attitude to him ahead of England's 36th Premier League match at Old Trafford Stadium on Sunday (29/4/2018).

When entering the field, Wenger received applause from all the fans of Man United who was present at the stadium.

Not only that. Prior to the match, Wenger also received a silver vase from former United manager Sir Alex Ferguson and current Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho.

Upon this speech, Wenger admitted touched. In fact, during this time Arsenal and Man United are rivals in the Premier League.

"I am very grateful for the attitude shown by Manchester United They are very classy and I enjoy it very much," Wenger said as quoted by BolaSport.com from Sky Sports.

"Regardless of my long experience of visiting Old Trafford, next year there will be someone else who replaces me and if he gets a very unfriendly welcome, he need not worry," said the Frenchman.

What this Man United is doing is to appreciate Wenger who will retreat from the coaching seat at the end of this season after 22 years of handling Arsenal.

Unfortunately, a sweet welcome at the beginning of the game did not lead to positive results for Wenger. In his last visit to Old Trafford, he lost 1-2.

Thus, Wenger's poor record when visiting the Theater of Dreams grew longer. During Arsenal's deal, Wenger has 22 times accompanied foster children at Old Trafford where they lost 13 times, 6 draws, and can only win 3 times.
