North Korea sets new terms, refuses to negotiate with "incompetent" carousel

North Korea's top negotiator on Thursday condemned the South Korean government as "ignorant and incompetent," this is the latest in a series of recent heating remarks from North Korea after abruptly canceling negotiations with its neighbors in the midst of American and South Korean air combat exercises.

South Korea has called for a planned summit between North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and US President Donald Trump after North Korea warned that it might cancel the meeting because the United States demanded that North Korea completely disarm its nuclear weapons program.
But a recent statement from Ri Son Gwon, North Korea's Chairman of the Committee for Peace Reunification, expressed doubts about South Korea's ability to assist in the preparation of the summit.
"On this occasion, South Korea's current authority has really proven to be a stupid group and unable to see the current situation," Ri said as reported by the North Korean news agency KCNA.
