Muslims in Indonesia on Wednesday (08/22/2018) celebrate Eid al-Adha 2018.

From year to year, there are many questions about sacrifice, not least in this 2018 Eid al-Adha.

Many people who want to sacrifice on Eid al-Adha 2018 for their parents who have passed away.

How is the law? This is how Ustadz Abdul Somad explained.

Reporting from YouTube Bujang Hijrah, Ustadz Abdul Somad got questions from his congregation regarding sacrifice.

"What is the legal sacrifice in the name of the person who has died? Can't the dead person not worship?" He said reading the question.

Ustadz Abdul Somad then responded by likening himself to death.

"If Abdul Somad dies, he cannot worship. But you don't give worship to Abdul Somad? Until you don't go to the service to Abdul Somad there is no funeral prayer," he said.

If there is no worship for the deceased person, then the person who has died will be discharged just like that, not sacred and given money.

In fact, he said, food for dead people could arrive.

"The reason is, the Messenger of Allah, my mother is dead, if I give charity to this almsgiving for my mother? The Prophet said, and the alms is the most bad, namely drinking water," he explained.

The law of eating sacrificial meat

Eid al-Adha 2018 has been held.

Usually, Muslims celebrate Eid Al-Adha 2018 by sacrificing both themselves and their families.

*Animals that are usually sacrificed on Eid al-Adha 2018 are goats and cows.

Now, to sacrifice this, some argue that people who sacrifice cannot wear their own sacrificial meat.

The opinion was denied by Ustaz Abdul Somad.

Reporting from YouTube shows on Monday (08/13/2018), Ustaz Abdul Somad even asked back who forbade those who sacrificed to eat their sacrificial meat.

"Is it permissible for people to sacrifice, eat the meat of sacrificial animals," said Ustaz Abdul Somad reading the question on a piece of paper.

Ustaz Abdul Somad then looked at the right and didn't answer right away.

"Father sacrifice? Yes. Don't eat meat later, it can't be eaten. How can it come from? That is what our ancestors used to say," he said practicing conversation.

Ustaz Abdul Somad then read a verse of the Koran.

"Eat, walah even told (not allowed to eat). Where is the verse Pak Ustaz? Surat Al Hajj: 28. Eat, but not all of them. Chief of the mosque, this is a cow. "Later, if there are people like this in our complex, take everything, cut it yourself, for yourself, die yourself," he explained with jokes.

Even so, Ustaz Abdul Somad explained that most of the sacrificial animals should indeed be given to the poor.

Then if you want to follow the sunnah of the apostle, he said, it's better to eat his heart.

"The most afdol if you want to join the sunnah, when you finish the prayer (Eid al-Adha), go home, cut, immediately take the heart, cut a bite, wash, give salt, burn for a while, when it is cooked immediately eat the heart, that's what the prophet did," he said.

"Why not the meat? The meat is old, the texture is hard, the ripeness is long, but if the liver is soft, cut it immediately, burn it and eat it," he said.

Well, then the rest of the start of the flesh, skin, feet, head and so on, distributed to the poor.

"Distribute to the indigent, best (tebaik), most good eating his heart a little, share," he added.

Ustaz Abdul Somad then share how both can be done by a person who is against the sacrificial meat.

That is, people who sacrifice may eat the meat of the sacrifice, but not more than one third of the portion.

"After being cut, actually it's a third share, one third for those who sacrifice, one third for friends, relatives, neighbors, families, another third for the poor," he explained.

For that, he said, if those who sacrifice so far often get two or three coupons, it doesn't matter.

"So our distribution so far, between, is not too minimal, not too much, not too bad, not one third, two coupons, three coupons are not a problem," he added.

However, he said, of course it still could not exceed one third.

"For no more than a third, if we take more than a third, we have eaten other people's quota, haram. But don't because of this, all of them ask for a third," he concluded. (Vivi Febrianti)
