From the first time that man discovered that he could rise beyond his own leap, or perhaps even before, he has dreamed of reaching the limits of outer space (and beyond). Now, a non-profit organization called Space for humanity wants to make those dreams come true by allowing ordinary people to travel, at the end of 2018, to the edge of space.

The plan is to offer a spectacular view of the curvature of the earth. For this, people will fly in a WorldView, a pressurized space category capsule, up to 32 kilometers altitude. To ascend, they will use a helium balloon; and to land, a rectangular parachute.

According to the organization, they are accepting requests from any part of the world to grant them a trip with all the expenses paid. All you have to do is create an account on your official website and record a 3 minute English video explaining why you should be selected. Then, you must upload that video to the account that you created on the web, and it will be published automatically on YouTube. The most popular videos will then go to an interview stage. You must bear in mind that to be eligible you must be at least 18 years old, speak fluent English and be willing to change the world.

However, the project is not immune to doubts and skepticism. Until now it is the only thing that is known. It is not known how they will finance the trips or if they will accept donations, so some care is recommended. Although of course, if it is free (as it is supposed to be) many do not care. A trip to the stratosphere does not pay you every day. In addition, the organization plans to make another trip to low Earth orbit, at an altitude of 200 to 2,000 km, in 2022; one to the moon in 2027 and to deep space in 2030.
