LIPUTANRAKYAT.COM | Banda Aceh - Issues related to the plan of Haj Financial Management Agency (BPKH) RI to take over the management of Land Waqaf Aceh (Baitul Asyi) in Saudi Arabia circulated some time ago, Syardani M. Syarif who is the spokesperson of Aceh Party (PA) BPKH RI plans to take over the management of Aceh Waqaf Land in Saudi Arabia.

Waqaf has been managed by the Bugak Nadzir Waqaf Habak Council, whose appointment was initiated directly by Habib Bugak and continued by the previous Nadzir descendants of the Aceh Ulema in Makkah.
Since 2007 every year all Acehnese who set out for pilgrimage to the holy land of Makkah al-Mukarramah get the profit sharing fund from the management of land waqf is 1,200 riyal or about Rp. 4 million more per pilgrim.

Requesting the President of Indonesia Joko Widodo (GoI) to review the plan of BPKH RI to take over the management of Aceh Waqaf Land in Saudi Arabia.
Ask the Indonesian Government not to disrupt the assets belonging to the Aceh Community wherever they may be.
