I say yes likely. Ethereum is already closing in on bitcoins market cap and combined with other Altcoins represent 60% of the entire cryptosphere. I think altcoins are going to be what take Bitcoin mainstream. Bitcoin better get its act together after aug1 if it doesn't want to become a shitcoin because these fees are outrageous. It's only a matter of time until something else replaces it all together.
