If it's specifically designed for cryptocurrency mining, then it's not a graphics card.
If it's going to be used for playing games then it's a waste of investment because mining needs to be done 24/7 to recoup the cost of the hardware and electricity before it becomes obsolete. A 'halfway house' makes no sense at all.
