The Saga So Far
8ch was taken down by the company Cloudflare cancelling its DDoS protection services a few months ago. Prior to this, 8ch was known as the home of Qanon, Atomwaffen, Siege Culture, all manner and variety of incel to alt-right ideology. There was so much going on there that it was hard to take in.
I wont forget the elongated, focussed shilling and trolling from bad actors on there. The bizarre information dumped on there. The insane variety amongst boards and posts on the site. I still miss how it was such a great place to scour for leads, or learn about the most very obscure of societal interests and cultural pursuits.
I still have a pile of leads, barely started investigations from 8ch: it was a very interesting place and if I guess correctly, a very important place. I miss that mystery, that feeling of just not knowing anything about it.
I wont have to miss it much longer: the relaunch of 8ch as 8kun is scheduled to premiere in less than 12 hours and I'm excited enough to ramble and rant instead of sleep.
This post is intended to help spread the word to grow the audience for the intended radio show 8kun owner and his staff will stream.

Jim Watkins is a guest on the Story Behind The Story radio show. He discusses in detail about how 8ch will have to rely on new technology, different concepts and alternate DDoS solutions to go back online. [Timestamped link here: 32m45s](I was pretty impressed listening here; Jim Watkins, an ex-military intelligence computer whiz boomer had openly expressed commitment to morals and values that I believed in too. It's endearing of him to share insights into 8ch and the events surrounding it with us, an online audience not wanting to remain a captive audience.
Today, 8chan/8channer remains an epithet for the snowflake-melting slogan: Welcome to 8chan: The Darkest Reaches of the Internet. Much like Jim, I remained nonplussed whilst all the deplatforming, slandering, cancel-culturing, and mainstream media mind manipulation was reaching a fever pitch earlier in 2019. Listening to the lilting, sometimes withering voice of Jim Watkins has made me less paranoid about his intent. So as a type of homage, I've learnt to speak in a lilting manner when being in tune with your inner calm is the only way to get through the utter chaos online.
The Overton Window shift was promulgated by the mainstream media bootlickers so eager to please. MSM tried to change the whole landscape of interacting online and how you consume information digitally. I staunchly believe they have lost but stubbornly plod on to delay the onset of the inevitable toddler's tantrum.
When mainstream social media fails like this, it still served its purpose if only with half efficacy. Childish behaviour distracts from Psy-ops involving creepy disinformation and glowing-in-the-dark Inspector Gadgets who fetishize complexity for no reason: their covert labours are intensive in expenditure.
The glowing spookiness was an endgame in itself.
Timing Is Everything. Analysis of The Strangely Synchronous Blather
When events happen simultaneously or a narrative goes viral for little apparent reason, study the timeliness of it. The timing and why such events happen will not be fortuitous upon further inspection.
To truly read in between the lines, abandon any belief that it's all just a coincidence. Too many times has timeliness and synchronicity illustrated how there is a global choreography behind it.
"Timing is everything," I say. As I say this, I feel a spiritual motivation guiding me whenever I investigate the happenstances to construct a timeline. Does it sound far-fetched to describe the importance of timing as I did above?
Once you become attuned to the sensitivity of this crafted choreography, you will continuously notice more and more.

I read Tech Against Terrorism's freshly published blog post here and was stunned at how serendipitous the timing of the post was. Their non-governmental organisational writing style is presently so shrill with a tone of fear-inducing and slickly constructed authoritarianism. The reader must never question the priggish, assumed authority on a subject like this! It was published for worldwide consumption. Never question it!
TechAgainstTerrorism is obviously too invested in posing any other solution. Heck, they don't even suggest a solution because the solution suggests itself: MORE CONTROL FOR SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS & LESS OPTIONS FOR USERS ONLINE.
I find it absolutely deplorable that a non-government organisation likely funded by taxpayer grants and donations present the hysterical supposition that it should be anathema for anyone online to circumvent moderation or use other platforms which aren't "larger social media platforms."

Me Trolling The Tech Anti-Terrorist Basic Bitches
One good thing that came from TechAgainstTerrorism's blogpost was discovering some handy new tools to assist in the preservation of embarrassing, academically stillborn poseur basic bitch content. I love the fact that the opposite effect will result from this when readers find out how some of the tools listed help get around annoying paywalls, or geo-blocking, or embedded advertising (why no mention of hooktube?)
I was amazed to see 8chan listed as a "beacon." After weeks of no mention outside of mainstream tech news and months out of the mainstream news, TechAgainstTerror publishes a blogpost that categorizes the defunct 8chan as a "beacon" for violent extremists. Amazing that they chose to print this 8chan logo without referencing the upcoming launch of 8kun.net. I wonder why...

You have not given enough meat within the body of this blog post to end it on such a fake note: "holistic in scope" "root causes of violent extremism" "terrorist (violent) extremist exploitation" "Internet as a dynamic ecosystem." CONCLUSION
To wrap it up: There's a lot more that 8chan gave to its users than just a place to express their niche interests or find likeminded folk. What as of yet unborn historians will be able to decipher Qanon? Who will be sharp enough to untangle the very fine threads of evidence that need to be weaved into the truthful timeline kept obscured? Who posted those manifestos, and why?
I am eagerly anticipating the launch of 8kun.net. I feel like it's going to be an erudite evolution for accessing information online; perhaps utilizing IPFS (Interplanetary File System: a p2p online data transfer protocol) or structured to sit on blockchain ledgers like BlockChan to be know that the lack of any attention is conspicuously familiar
