Politicians can say whatever they need on Facebook. this may not violate Facebook's rules. That is, the Facebook authorities are keeping the politicians above the principles . Facebook authorities recently said that the overall principles of Facebook don't apply to politicians. However, advertising is different. aside from this, any post on spreading violence within the world would be an exception. Facebook is talking about the content posted by politicians, saying that Facebook doesn't want to behead them. this may keep them out of the political debate.

According to a report by the technology website The Verge, the tactic of providing special benefits to Facebook's policy will work very similar to microblogging site Twitter. Facebook made such a choice to avoid the political controversy surrounding the US presidential election in 2020.

Nick Clegg, head of Facebook's communications department, recently spoke about the new policy at an occasion called the Atlantic Festival. Later during a blog post, he wrote that if an official makes a press release or shares something that violates Facebook's policy, it'll get approval on Facebook. the problems are going to be kept in sight of the interest of the people. The statements of political leaders are going to be considered as useful content of the news.
