RE: Local Media in Illinois Exposing Medical Kidnapping by Child Abuse Specialists

or something more sinister is happening with the power of authority that doctors have over the lives of families, parents and children.

I will go with this option. Doctors have become the new priests and act like it. Doling out their poisons as they sit atop their medical thrones, they really believe they are above the average person. The police have nothing on this group when it comes to arrogance and us verse them mentality. They have been shielded in much the same ways that government personnel are, between release forms, insurance to handle those pesky accidents if they have an off day or worse. Good luck finding lawyers or other doctors who will roll against one of them personally. It is hard enough to prove medical malpractice and if you do, they pay the premiums to cover it.

I say it often on your posts, but it is apparent to me that none of this changes at the ballot box except to get more bizarre in bad ways. Accountability needs to be forced on these people. Naming them, shaming them. Make those coming behind them in these positions think twice about the idea they are immune to the consequences of doing evil on their community for some extra federal reserve notes in their bank accounts.

Some certainly get stuck up into the hierarchical model of looking down on others. Do you really think it's worse than with police? Hmm.... I'm not sure. The blue code is pretty strong, but so is the white-coat code, as they both frown on exposing misconduct and protect the "family" they belong to. Yes, naming and shaming by exposing their dirty behavior is the way to get social accountability when justice fails.
