dungeons and dragons story, victor the barbarian chef
This story takes place in a small play by post server I was playing on. I played a barbarian/revised ranger class and picked this homebrew race called a worgen. I had two allies with me who were barbarians as well. One was Kragh a half-orc and jacs a goblin. The first time we fought an enemy was this one ogre. His first words were "Intruders! What are you doing in my woods?!".In his description, he was a large, green creature that smelt putrid, like onions. He told us to turn back and leave, but victor was hungry. He says "victor looking for dinner, green thing become dinner?".From then on we rolled initiative and fought. In less than three rounds we knock the ogre down. Since I have a +8 to roll I made using cooking utensils I made an amazing meal out that ogre. I rolled a 23 on the ogre stew. He then made about 6 days of rations from the ogre.
Victor also spoke three languages. common, sylvan and draconic. Allow me to give you an example of how he speaks in each of these languages.
common: "Victor think we attack big thing."
sylvan: "Allow me to introduce myself, I am victor. It is wonderful to meet you"
draconic:excessive swearing
In the dark star players, characters are believed to come from another dimension. Usually, through death, victors backstory was that he was from a tribe of worgen that hunted and eat dragons, usually treating dragons like Thanksgiving turkeys. He, unfortunately, was killed by a dragon.Jacs was an ancestral guardian barbarian and his ancestor dworkei would usually talk through him.One dworkei told him that he had three dragon sons. This, of course, did not go well with victor and chaos ensued. After a while, victor calmed down and jacs basically banished dworkei.
another story was when the three of us were exploring, We came across a corpse. We went to investigate the body and it growled at us before jacs cut off its head. We decided this would be a good meal, I search around for a few ingredients and find some herbs. The corpse is then cut up and a good stew is made out of it, which I rolled 24 on. It was a fairly decent corpse stew.
There also this other time where victor fought a few kobolds and cooked them, this was but one of his adventures.
