Not A Common Type Of Soup || Mix Fluted Pumpkin And Yoruban Bologi Vegetable Soup With Melon || Delicious Delicacy For You
Hello Everyone 💕💞,
Welcome to my Food Corner here on the Steem blockchain and as always I am @mattsanthonyit . To start with, I am going to show us how I do prepare a delicious delicacy with just two types of Vegetables which are a varieties of different Vegetable spcies here in Nigeria and other part of the world as well. But here in Africa it is prepared in so many ways to please individual taste. The Vegetables are The Yoruban Bologi and The Fluted Pumpkin. These are some of the Nutritional Vegetables which gives and boost the body system in most cases and give the body the necessary vitamins, minerals and Nutrients.
How To Prepare Both Vegetables ( Fluted Pumpkin And Yoruban Bologi With Grinded Melon)
In as much as you can eat both Vegetable together in one soup, there is no negative effect but for those who can not consume more than one soup at a time you may experience running stomach for some period of time and that's all. But for me, I do.
Step 1.
The Yoruban Bologi Vegetable
After thinking of what to prepare for the family, I went into the farm to fetch my Vegetables right from its source as shown in the pictures above. That is the hences of you Practicing farming and experiencing the green nature of life. I have several kinds of Vegetables in my farm which gives me upper hand to fetch at anytime of the day and prepare for my family.
Step 2.
I have to do the slicing into smaller pieces so as to retain its Nutrients when washed.
Step 3.
After thorough washing with much water , I have to drain the water before it is time for it to go into prepared pepper stew.
Step 4.
Other Ingredients include ⬇️⬇️
- Clean empty pot
- Red oil
- Salt
- Red Peppers.
- Locust Beans
- Grinded Melon
- Red Onions 🌰
- Maggi
These are other food spicy needed to make it more delicious and smell sweet.
Step 5.
I used Hand grinder to solve the Pepper's and
Step 6.
After I finished with the pepper, I placed my clean empty pot on the fire and pour my red oil in it to make it looks more faint.
Step 7.
Sliced onions went in.
Step 8.
Locust Beans went in also.
Step 9.
Pepper also went in.
Step 10.
After the step 9, I had to pour in the grinded Melon then cover for another 15 minutes. The reason being that if the melon is not well cooked it can lead to running stomach. So, I had to stir for few minutes then cover again. Along the line, I added my chicken meat to accompanied the soup.
This is as part of my own contribution to the @foodfightfriday initiative.

Amazing @mattsanthonyit 😉 your step by step preparation really neat! I wonder about the red oil.. what's it made from? When you wrote about the melon.. is it the same melon I know?
Smile. Thanks for stopping by on my page and commenting here. First of all I really want to appreciate your Observation. Most people do see and scroll but no question. Concerning yours. Which of the melon did you know? This melon is purposely for soup just like we have other kinds of soup Ingredients. When you add it to fried Pepper it will sometimes swollen up and form ball shape but sometimes it do not form the balls depending on the individual choices. Which of the melon did you know?
