Can you believe it? It is almost time for the fifth farmpunk fiction writing contest. We've had some awesome winners in the past. Here's the celebratory 10-finger salute (because I don't have 21 guns):

Just three days away from the first day of November when we'll kick off the fifth farmpunk fiction writing contest. We've had a suggested theme: "Cornucopia."
I kind of like it. Does anyone else have a suggestion for a theme? If so, write it in the comments below. And get ready to enter the next contest. It's going to be a good one. Kind of like this farmpunk hot rod:

Meanwhile, as we're waiting for this contest to start, I'm considering a little writing workshop. As I envision it, it will take place in the Speculative Fiction Writers of Steemit Discord channel. I'll set aside a private, exclusive channel just for the workshop. It will likely be limited to 10 writers interested in improving their speculative fiction writing skills. Since time is a premium, I'll ask each writer for a small amount of STEEM (believe me, it will be small) for a four week worskshop in which I'll share some of my fiction writing secrets.
If there is any interest in this, please let me know in the comments. I'll need to see some level of interest before I open the offering and promote it.
