Chapter 29 Review:

Justin goes back to Saint Anders Hospital with a huge task. He goes to a closet putting on a Doctor uniform and getting a defibrillator. He then hands Nurse Connie Latresky a note which she much keep secret for 18 years. He then rushes down to the room where little Justin is having a cardiac arrest as well as Kyle who was Katherine's coworker.  He quickly resuscitates them. Dr. Filbrick finds out through spying, pictures and videos that Justin had already created 'time travel', but was still working out some issues. Stealing Justin's approach, he ordered his staff to work around the clock to beat Justin and claim credit for the invention.

Chapter 30: A Close Shave

Larry Van Morrison was standing by the mirror staring at his reflection while shaving himself.

“Mark Hannity, burn in hell. Why did you convince the jury to let Katherine Time go free. She was guilty! She was guilty on all accounts. The Millionaires Mogul. Damn. I had the best account. They brought in $200,000.00 per month revenues. I am the owner of The Bel De Flur Country Club restaurant. I was the owner! I am! I was!  God damn William paid them off. He bought their account. Reputation. Reputation!”

Larry was getting himself into a frenzy. As he continued his tirade, he was pushing harder on his razor.

"The Millionaires Mogul cared about their reputation. If high profile Katherine was found guilty, it would of reflected negatively on that thief William. The Millionaires Mogul would of returned to me. I despise William and Katherine. Look what they reduced me to. I am stuck in this hell hole. I will not let them handcuff me like this."

Larry was now pushing so hard on his razor, he started bleeding. Still, he continued his rant and pushed even harder.

"I am not staying in this hell hole any longer. I will free the world from those two and by doing so, I will free myself. They will join Mark Hannity!"

With his face dripping with blood and dropping all over his hand, the sink and the floor he started laughing maniacally.

"William and Katherine burn in hell!"

Justin, Blair and Kirstin were sitting at the dining room table discussing recent events. Kirstin was still trying to grasp the concept of time travel.

"I don't understand why you had to go into the past to resuscitate yourself if it had already been done. What happens if you decided not to go back?", questioned Kirstin.

"Those are two very good questions.", began Justin. "The whole concept seems circular. Doesn't it? What happened first? Did I go back to save the little boy or did the little boy who was in a coma have a cardiac-arrest and needed to be resuscitated? We have been brought up thinking time was linear. After Monday is Tuesday. After Tuesday is Wednesday. After the year 2016 is 2017. Correct?"

"Time is linear. Isn't it?", Kirstin asked.

"No. It is not. Time and space are one in the same. Everything happens at once like a photograph. They only way we can learn is through linear thinking."

Justin pulled out a DVD of a popular movie.

"I assume you are familiar with this movie?"

"Yes. Of course."

"At the end of the movie, our hero dies. Correct?"

"Yes", agreed Kirstin who was listening intently.

Justin pulled the disc out of the sleeve and handed it to her.

"I am now handing this disc to you. The whole story at the same time is being given to you. I am not giving you the beginning followed by the middle and then, the end. The whole story has already happened and you are receiving it at the same time."

"I see.", said Kirstin. "At least I think I do. That is a very hard concept for me to wrap myself around."

"In deed it is sweetheart.  The next question you had is what happens if I don't go back to save myself?  There are infinite planes amid time and space. All happening together. If I didn't go back, then we would of entered another plane. Most likely you would of never met me and I probably died in that plane. Something else you may find fascinating. There are planes that exist where most likely you died or were never born. The concept is scary. It even scares me. Even though I have this tumor, I like my life. I want to keep it the way it is."

"Speaking of tumor", interjected Blair, "How are you doing?"

"Well, it is still here and painful. But since I have enhanced my meditation skills, I can keep the pain under control."

"Have you told your mom yet?", asked Blair.

"No. I still haven't. She worries so much. Besides, she is under too much stress recently trying to complete her final project."

"What project is that?", asked Kirstin.

"I don't know. I just know it is suppose to be some kind of ground breaking innovation."

"How could you not know something so important? And something so important to your mother!?", shrieked Kirstin.

"Don't you care about your mother or what is important in her life?"

"You're right. I am bad with that kind of stuff. I have been so busy with my own problems, that I haven't thought much about anything else."

As Justin was replying his phone rang. "Hello. Oh, hi mom. We were just talking about you. Kirstin, Blair and myself. Okay, I will put you on speaker phone."

After Justin put her on speaker phone, he continued, "Can you hear us?"

"I can hear you just fine dear. I am calling to remind you about the pool party this coming Saturday. I know how busy you can get and you may forget."

"I will make sure he remembers Mrs. Time.", expressed Kirstin.

"Thanks dear, but please call me Katherine."

"Hey mom, guess who Kirstin's roommate is?"

"I have no clue dear."

"Connie Latresky", he bellowed.

"Really?! Oh my god that is amazing. How is she?"

"She is doing great Mrs. Time..er I mean Katherine", said Kirstin.

"Oh.. I just love that lady. Kirstin dear?"

"Yes"

"I would love to see her again. Can you please invite her to our party?"

"I would be glad too. I am sure she will be excited too."

"Oh mom. I have been meaning to ask you."

"Yes dear.", Katherine responded as there was a knock on her front door.

"I know you have been working on another big project and it has taken most of your time. What exactly is your project about?"

"Oh, it is amazing.."

The knock on the door was even louder this time and in the background, Williams voice yelled out, "Honey, that is the inspector for our pool. You can continue your conversation later."

"Sorry honey, I have to go. We can discuss it later. Ba-bye I love you."

"I love you too mom."

"Well, I need to go now.", said Blair. I will see you here tomorrow morning? Let's see what's in store for us next."

"Okay. I will see in the morning. I sure hope we are getting close to reversing this tumor. It sure seems that I have been taking quite a detour."

"It sure does.", Blair agreed. "Bye Kirstin."

The next morning, Blair, Kirstin and Justin were in the basement ready for the next set of instructions.

"Let's look at the next set of instructions. Shall we?, said a serene Justin.

Justin was feeling pretty good. The last few travels went well and everything seems to be progressing as planned.  Justin opened the next envelope and found he had to make a third trip to Madam Clearvision. Again, he had a small envelope which he was to deliver to her.

"I can't believe we have to pay her another visit. I am so over her.", commented Justin.

"What do you mean, 'we'. You are the one who is visiting her. I am just an innocent bystander making sure everything on this end goes well.", said Blair.

"Yeah. You're real innocent I am sure."

Moments later, Justin found himself arriving on that familiar field near the familiar shed. After a few minutes, he was ready to depart. Looking at his watch, he realized he arrived ten minutes later than he should of. He made haste towards Clearvison. He was upset at himself that he arrived late. He knew he has to focus better. At least he arrived at the correct location. It was important that he focuses every time he time travels. A lack of focus could potentially be disastrous.
