5 suggestions in health
There are too many reasons why people fail to reach their fitness or health goals. I put together 5 suggestions to help improve success and encourage good health practices in others.

Clear the air. Spend some time sensing your senses, breathe a few breathes and feel your bodily environment. Plug into the present moment, witness present things. Observe daily commotions without reaction and reserved judgement.

Visualize achieving a standard in health and accomplishing a goal. It’s fun to imagine the positive affect strong health may have on those in close relationship, it’s easy to imagine the impact strong health can have on personal performance. I’ll paraphrase something Dr. Jung once said, “Fantasy is not nothing or a tangible object but it is nevertheless factual and real.” Before buildings are built or inventions invented, they are first someone’s fantasy.

Adopt and abide by a health based principle to help reach your goals. With practice, time, and circumstance learn to associate physical efforts in wellness with appreciation, happiness, and contentment.

Take pride in personal accomplishments. Sometimes a physical representation can help reaffirm a health based principle. Keeping workout cards, tracking calendar days, improved health scores, acknowledging nutritious food choices, a change in pants/dress size, big or small, all things add up. Taking notice may inspire more improvement, a greater or renewed drive to continue, deeper fulfillment from actions taken, and increased confidence to take on additional responsibilities.

Be open to change and open to learning. Fortunately/unfortunately nothing lasts forever and everything is subject to change. Being able to adapt appropriately to different circumstances is a benefit of well imagined and routinely practiced health based principles. I’ve been a fitness trainer long enough to see a recycling of ideas, theories, formats, other marketing schemes within the industry. Recognize patterns, accept them as such and never be frightened to try something new.

It's good to reflect and read encouraging words like these. Lately, I've been too caught up in the negativities of my body and habits and wanting immediate results. The body slowly gets healthier and stronger just as it slowly got weaker and bigger (not in a good way). I like the pictures!
