LilTammy´s favourite flower: Growing incredibly fragrant Plumeria is the best thing

in #flower6 years ago (edited)

Plumeria plants (Frangipani) are actually small trees that are native to tropical America from Brazil to Mexico and the Caribbean. The name Frangipani comes from the name of a 16th-century Italian nobleman who created a perfume with a similar scent. There are hundreds of named varieties. The plant grows up to 7 meters high and forms shrubs.

Plumerias are highly fragrant and bloom freely from spring through fall in multiple colors like white, yellow, pink, and red.

And why do I love them so much? Because of their really unmistakable fragrance. It is something very special with a scent including hints of jasmine and citrus (they are most fragrant at night.) And also cause they are so photogenic :D

Plumeria need bright sun and warm temperatures, just like me ;)

Stay awesome and Steem on!

Lil Tammy
