I hope you all are doing well. Today, I am excited to share my special and crispy snack called Potato Pakoda, which is loved for its crunchy texture, spicy flavor, and irresistible aroma. This popular snack is perfect for tea time, family gatherings, and special occasions.

Ingredients

Required ingredients for making recipe

Ingredient Quantity
Gram flour (Besan) 1 kg
Potatoes 2 pieces
Salt 1 teaspoon
Red chili powder (crushed) 1 teaspoon
White cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
Water 1 glass
Cooking oil For frying

Required ingredients for making chatni

Ingredient Quantity
Coriander & Mint As required
Tomatoes 2 pieces
Onions 2 pieces
Green chilies 2 pieces
Garlic 1 bunch
Tamarind As required
Salt 1 teaspoon
White cumin seeds 1 teaspoon

Cooking Procedure step by step

🥣 Step 1: Prepare the Batter

First of all, take gram flour (besan). Add salt, black cumin seeds, and crushed red chili — 1 teaspoon each — and mix well. Now add half a glass of water and make a smooth batter.

🍳 Step 2: Fry the Potatoes

Now take a pan and add cooking oil. Heat the oil well. Cut the potatoes, dip them into the prepared batter, and fry them in hot oil. When they turn golden brown, they are ready to serve.

Step 3: Prepare the Chutney

First, take 1 grinder jar and add tamarind water to it. Then add coriander, mint, salt, white cumin seeds, garlic, green chili, tomato, and chopped onion, and grind everything. Now the chutney is ready. Transfer it into 1 bowl.
