FOOD RECIPE #7/ [][] METHOD HOW TO MAKE TRADITIONAL SWEET CORN DHOKLA.....
Sweet corn dhokla is prepared by adding sweet corn cream into the curd-semolina mixture along with salt and ginger. It tastes super scrumptious. This soft and spongy dhokla can be served as a snack or breakfast along with green coriander chutney and chilly sauce.
Sweet corns are loaded of nutrients and sometime it becomes difficult to feed healthy foods to kids. Here is the best way to fulfill the daily intake of nutrients of such kids. Sweet corn dhokla is very easy to make and it’s finger-licking taste will make your kids to ask for more and more. So, try out making sweet corn dhokla with these easy to follow step-by-step instructions. Enjoy!
Ingredients
Sweet Carn - 2
Semolina (rava) - 1 cup
Curd - 1 cup
Salt - 3/4 Tablespoons
Ginger - 1 inch piece grated
Lemon - 1
Eno Powder - 3/4 Tablespoons
Oil - 2-3 tablespoons
Mustard seeds - 1 tbsp
Curry Leaf - 10 - 12 Cut thin finely
Green Chilli - Cut into 1-2 lengths by doing 2 pieces
Green Coriander - 1-2 table spoons (finely chopped)
How to make Sweet Corn Dhokla
- Take the curd up, keep the semolina mixed in curd thoroughly.
- Make a cream, grate the sweet corn. Add sweet corn cream, salt and ginger paste in the curd of yogurt, add the lime juice in the mixture and mix it. Mix all the ingredients well and keep them for 5 minutes, then prepare for the preparation of the dhokla.
- Take one such utensil to cook the dhokla, in which the dhokla plate can be placed, put 2 1/2 cup water in the vessel to heat it, keep a mesh stand in the water, on which keep the Dhokla mixture plate, Cover the utensil with a lid so that steam starts to form quickly.
- Add oil to the plate and smooth it.
 - Add the powdered powder to the mixture, as soon as the air bubble starts to appear, put the solution in a smooth plate. When the steam is started in the water, keep the plate on the lattice stand and cover the Dhokla for 20 minutes. Once the steam starts forming then reduce the gas so that the steam in the vessel continues to grow.
- After 20 minutes, open the dhokla and check it, put a knife in the dhokla, and see that the mixture of Dhokla does not attach to it, then the Dhokla has been cooked.
- When the dhokla is cooled slightly, separate with the help of a knife, take it out of the plate in a different plate, cut the dhokla with your knife into the desired piece, and now make the temperance.
- Cockcrowing
- Heat oil in small penis, add mustard seeds, roast in it, add curry leaves and green chillies, and put this tempering on all sides of the dhokla with a spoon, decorate it with green coriander over it.
- Delicious Sweet Corn Dhokla is ready, serve and eat with green coriander sauce or coconut sauce.
- Suggestion
You can take 1 cup of sweet corn kernels instead of sweet corns. Prepare its paste in mixer grinder and then add it into the semolina-curd mixture.
