Very interesting recipe, the apple donuts, so delicious n so yum yum. I am a choco addict, hence would still apply a thick layer of melted chocolate or even chocolate sauce on the donuts with a generous drizzle of maple sauce little later, when the chocolate layer atop the donuts, dries up.
