Sambar Vada is South Indian food but it is enjoyed all over the world by Indians. Mostly served in marriage and party, this is the favorite dish of all the people. You can have Sambar Vada on holidays at breakfast or on the arrival of your special guests and you can make it for any party.

You can also make this dish on anybody's birthday at your home.
There are special Udipi hotels which provide this with typical south Indian flavour.
