Hello my dear friends, how you doing?
Its been a long time since i’ve eaten chicken noodle in Medan. In fact, i have never eat chicken noodle even once since my arrival in Medan. Its kinda weird because i am obsessed with chicken noodle but i do understand why. Ramadhan makes me loose appetite for chicken noodle. Its because i need “stronger” and “ better” food, i dont even know what i mean by that because its something i unconsciously made up in my mind about food. Ramadhan is over and i started to think about chicken noodle again. Which originally are my most favorite food in the world. I told my brother about it when we were in our way to cinema to watch Dr. Strange. We both agree that we will eat the chicken noodle together after the movie, and we planned to eat in a place we have never tried before. Because of the promise to eat chicken noodle after the movie, i cant focus while watching Dr. Strange. I was hungry and all i can think were chicken noodle. I didnt eat anything since morning and its already 2 pm so my stomach and head condition to keep thinking about eat was understandable .

The name is Bakso BMC. They dont really tell us what is BMC stands for, i already checked their banner, their menu, but there’s still no explanation. We never been to this place before even though this place located not too far from our house. Bakso BMC located in Johor, its right in Johor’s main road. Very accessible. Its easy to park our vehicles too in this place. So, this is a comfortable place to eat. As we can see, they made such a big banner in front of the main road. And its in red color. Its so eye catching.

This is what the place looks like. Very simple and normal, just like in another warung bakso. There’s no fancy or thoughtful design despite their place is pretty spacious. I think its normal for this kind of place. Making them looking modern or fancy will make people feel lazy to go there. The place can be a rundown but if its good, people will be lined up to go there. Anyway, eating bakso, chicken noodle, and mie soup in this kind of place is the best because its somehow can give me a sense of comfort.

This is their menu. Its written on top of it that this is their lebaran menu, which means that it’s their Eid Al Fitr menu. I do wonder if there’s another menu exists. Maybe, just maybe, they change the price to a little bit higher during Eid Al Fitr because they know that there’re not many place open. Still i think the price is fine and pretty normal so i dont make a fuss on it.

This is what me and my brother’s ordered. Each of us order a different type of mie.

Like usual, this is what they have in the table. Its very simple, just ketchup, soy sauce, and chili.

My chicken noodle. Just from the moment it arrived. I can already smells the MSG. Its fine by me because this is not something i will eat everyday so MSG here and there once in awhile is okay. The chicken, despite the brown color it doesnt taste sweet at all. I would prefer that if they make it sweeter. The taste is so good. I missed this taste because they have different style of chicken noodle in Bali.
