Helping for the Sake of Helping: Giving Away Free Food to Love Change Into Being
We gave away a few hundred pounds of food today!
The people who came by were very grateful for the abundance we shared.
One gentleman had been to a few food banks and encountered great difficulty in getting assistance. A church even denied him food when he revealed that he did not have a religious affiliation!
This is why we exist. There is a problem with values in this country. We have an abundance of resources, but people are expected to perform in order to get them.
We don't agree with those standards. A better way is possible!
Every human being has a right to food, air, water, and shelter regardless of how much money they have or what beliefs they hold.
As long as everyone tries to control everyone to be like they are, holding judgment and manipulation, then we will not progress to peace and harmony.
We must learn to love for the sake of love and to agree to disagree. It is when we help for the sake of helping that we inspire and touch. Then maybe change is possible. Not because we forced it, but because we loved it into being!
This is why we share prolifically. @quinneaker dreamed up a better world, and we spend our energy, time, and resources in being the change to make it so.

SUCH beautiful work! I do not think there is a better way to show love than feeding people.
I think by feeding others we show them that we accept, support and love them. It's like we welcome them into our family, like inviting them into our house and sharing food with them.
A study of primates showed that sharing food with others is often seen as the most intimate of activities and is a very strong bonding activity showing 'equality' and 'belonging' amongst those who eat together.
So that's why I love your work, it not only nourishes the body through good food but also the soul through the love, energy, acceptance and belonging that it fosters in the world!

We're doing this every single day whether anyone else notices or not, because we recognize that it's up to us to make this world a place we want to live in, but it is definitely motivational to us when we can inspire others to be part of the change as well!

I agree with you that eating together can be good for the soul. When we go out to feed the homeless, many have been moved to tears just believing someone cared. It's truly a blessing to be of service to our fellow man. Thanks for your beautiful comment @willstephens.
Next year I will be part of a group taking a bus around the UK offering Free Meals and Listening Circles to people in communities and especially young adults ;-)
People can truly benefit from such a worthy venture. People get so moved when they receive personal attention, free food or even a smile. I'm sure you will make a difference in the lives of those you touch. What a great gift @willstephens.

Thanks, @cryptokraze! We feed free meals every single day. We provide free housing to people in need every single day. Every single day, we produce more than we consume, and we serve more people every day! It is indeed a blessing to live such an epic existence!!

Yes!!!! We already have all the resources available to provide for everyone in need! We could end world hunger with the resources we already have!!! Sharing is the key, and caring is the key for sharing.

In 2012 I helped start a community garden in my town to help feed people. It's still going today and everyone in that neighborhood helps out and grows food together. It's amazing what you can do with a little dirt, seed, water, and a bunch of volunteers who care. I enjoyed your post, keep doing the what you're doing and spreading the love.
Wonderful, that is really heart warming to hear!!! It really doesn't take much to help each other, and everybody wins! Those in need get food, the volunteers get a nice workout and camaraderie, and the Earth is respected and protected in a little way. Good job to you too, @zacharyscottrose!
