Instant Pot Chicken with Asparagus - cut up and ready to eat - such a game changer to have one of these units - cooks so fast and nice
This was done in the Instant Pot, aka Instapot, InstantPot. People seem to call it the Instapot the most when talking about it. On the unit itself, it is called the Instant Pot. I digress.
It is basically a pressure cooker of modern day with no need for a stove, that is counter top and standalone; for those that don't have one or know of this item. It can be a real game changer for cooking meats. Even lesser expensive beef, that is referred to as stew meat in the grocery stores, will come out super soft with no chew to it. It feels almost as soft as filet (of course not the same flavor but still extremely good). The asparagus was done in the steamer...
This is like the one I have but only a newer model....This is just a stock picture from Amazon of the unit.
