The most delicious ramen soft-boiled egg!
So my favourite part of having ramen aside from the broth is always that soft tasty egg with custard like egg yolk!
I’ve learnt how to make delicious soft-boiled ramen eggs recently. It is super easy to make and it tastes exactly the same as what you can get from a ramen restaurant.
Here’s the recipe:
Ingredients:
10 eggs
4 cloves garlic, minced
2-3 slices of ginger (optional)
2 tbsp. White wine/any other cooking wine
2 tbsp. Oyster sauce
2 tbsp. Sugar/honey
100ml soy sauce
400ml water
Directions:
Poke a hole on top of each eggs carefully using a pin
Boil a pot of water, add a tbsp of vinegar
Gently put the eggs into boiling water, let it boil for 6 minutes. Timer on!
Meanwhile mix the rest of the ingredients in a saucepan, make it boil for 1 minutes
Transfer the eggs to iced cold water. Peel all the shells off.
Let the eggs sit in the sauce for at least 3 hours.!
