Best Cornish Pasties Ever!! 😋 Pengenna Bakery.

Down in Tintagel with my Mum and Gran we are the best Cornish Pasties we have ever tried! They have a great reputation and were recommended by several of my friends so I couldn't wait to get stuck in.
They are freshly made with local ingredients and emerge Steeming hot from the oven with an incredible mouth watering smell! We all had the large steak for £4 which is good value considering their monsterous size.
The meat was juicy and tender well dispersed throughout the onion, swede and potato, so each bite had a bit of everything to delight the taste buds! 😋
The pastry was very good too, nearly as good as my Mum's lol. The crust was crisp but not dry and had a lovely buttery flavour. The pastry was quite thin for the size of the pasty because they use some Canadian wheat flour in the mix which has a higher protein content able to stretch more and stay stable.
Just a perfect all round pasty just what you want! very well made with the neat Cornish crimping along the top (compared to along one bottom edge with a Devon pasty). I will definitely be going back for another one next time I'm in Cornwall 👍⭐
