Hello @princessmewmew.Probably because i did not roast the almonds to bring out the oils making it a bit easier for blending like you suggested in the post plus i ran out of patience and enthusiasm coupled with the fact it was more tasking using a portable hand blender for the job.
oh, i can see how that would be frustrating. It did take a while, i must admit.
