We would always prefer SEMOVITA as one of our best food.
It's a popular food in Nigeria, commonly used for making pastes and served with African soup. Moreover, it can be in a watery form, drinkable.
What is semovita made from? How is this popular Nigerian food made?

Semovita is made from semolina. And semolina is made from coarsely ground durum wheat while Durum wheat is a wheat variety that has a rich Yellow colour called TRITICUM TURGIDUM.
Both semovita and semolina are refined from wheat and are fortified with vitamins and proteins.
It's whitish or off-white colour;looks very beautiful on dishes.
HOW IS THIS POPULAR NIGERIAN FOOD MADE?
You don't need much ingredient in making semovita but definitely you'd need semovita(any brand of your choice), water, wooden spoon.
Once you have all this ingredient ready, let's see the production process:
- Add 500ml of water to a handy pot and place it on your Gas/electric cooker. Wait until it begins to boil.
- Now add a cup of semovita into a cold water.
- Stir the mixture with a wooden spoon.
- Now pour the cold mixture with a wooden spoon.
- Continue stirring until the consistency becomes tough and elastic without any lumps left. It should be smooth and pleasant looking.
- Now, Food is ready and you can make your dinner delicious with semovita.
Eat it with any soup of your choice and Enjoy.
