Jose Mourinho coach Toni Kroos Join Manchester United
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly contacted Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos. He intends to invite the German star to move to Old Trafford this summer. Jose Mourinho has previously confirmed that he will be spending his players on the transfer market next summer and the search for new players for midfield and defense positions is a priority. For the position of midfielder, Jose Mourinho puts Toni Kroos as the main target, although there are other news that says he is also targeting Napoli midfielder, Jorginho. Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is definitely reluctant to lose the German international, but according to Don Balon reports, Toni Kroos feels his time at Real Madrid is coming to an end. Toni Kroos feels confident Real Madrid face an era of rebuilding his squad with fresh new players, and believes he has to go to face new challenges. Jose Mourinho is keen to bring Toni Kroos to Manchester United to replace Michael Carrick who will retire at the end of the season. In addition, United will also miss Marouane Fellaini who almost certainly move to the Turkish League club, Galatasaray in the summer. Toni Kroos is seen by Mourinho as the ideal candidate to play alongside Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba in the formation of three midfielders. The Independent reported that United were confident to land the German star after his performance was no longer satisfactory in Madrid. But Manchester United is not alone in chasing Kroos's signature. Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is also very interested in recruiting him to fill the position that will be abandoned by Yaya Toure. Bayern Munich club also reportedly want to bring home his former player in the summer as news will be the departure of Arturo Vidal at the end of this season.
