Ostersunds FK 0-3 Arsenal recap as Gunners put one foot in Europa League last 16
Arsenal made a sub-zero temperature light work, to secure a perfect and suitable Europa league victory against Ostersunds. In the first-leg of this round 32 tie which was hosted at the Ostersund's Jamtkraft Arena, Arsenal overcame by a 3-0 win. Due to this victory, Arsenal is left with a best shot of returning to the Champions League. Arsene Wenger,having utilised his fringe players now seats eight point off the top four.
Little wonder the likes of Mesut Ozil and Henrikh Mkhitaryan were included here and it was the former who rounded off a straightforward win after a Nacho Monreal effort and a Sotirios Papagiannopoulos own goal had set Arsenal on their way, with Ostersund missing a last-gasp penalty.
