Chelsea draw against Barcelona in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League round of 16

The Champions League round of 16 first leg was between Chelsea and Barcelona at Stamford Bridge. Many people had been looking forward to this match because both the teams have quite a tough rivalry, with most of the matches between Chelsea and Barcelona in the past have been really tough and exciting to watch.

The first half of the match was scoreless even though both the teams had a couple of chances, with Chelsea player Willian being very unlucky as 2 of his shots hit the post. The first shot hit the right post and the second one hit the left post. But Willian managed to score at the 62nd minute of the match as he was able to shoot the ball right in the bottom corner where the keeper couldn't reach it. A defense mistake at the 75th minute saw Messi scoring one for Barcelona with an assist from Andrés Iniesta to level the score. Chelsea's defense was spectacular throughout the match, but just one mistake led them to concede a goal. Both teams played really well and the game ended 1-1 after the full-time whistle.
The second leg will be played at the Camp Nou where Barcelona will be hosting Chelsea.
