PODENCE THE PORTUGUESE HAZARD!!!

From SPORTING Clube PORTUGAL I introduce you Daniel PODENCE. This player made a debut in the main team earlier this year after a loan to moreirense, where he did really well and was the main star in moreirense first title, winning the Portuguese league cup.
Daniel Podence is a rather versatile player. He can play as winger, centre midfielder, attacking midfielder or forward. He has a great power of ‘explosion’, which encumbers his opponents due to his extreme velocity and his tendency to make breaking vertical passes that endanger the opposing defence’s efficacy.
His ‘natural’ position is that of right winger, where he often seeks 1v1 situations and is an expert in cutting in to the centre of the field to try a long-distance shot but also in proficiently dribbling the ball for several meters to dangerously cross it.
He lacks in some physical stregth ( he is only 1.68m) that makes it difficult to gain advantage in midefield but he was soo much intensity and speed. He is also very combative and very gifted technically. He will be part of sporting main time next year and is without no doubt the next Portuguese revelation next season!!!
