THANK YOU. An Open Letter To All Fellow Steemians.

It is with great pleasure that I have this opportunity to say

THANK YOU

To EVERYONE who has contributed to the making of this wonderful idea come to life.
An idea in which new concepts came to life.
Everything from the concept of monetizing ones input on the internet all the way through to introducing new economical standards that were never thought possible.
Yes, this was Steem. A blockchain that included all that, even two native cryptocoins one called STEEM (All Caps) and the other called SBD (an attempt of pegging a crypto coin to the USD).
All this was made possible thanks to EVERYONE who contributed in every unique way that only unique individuals can do.

Through all the bumpy rides along the way to the further evolution of the concepts we helped prove possible, one thing that was proven at the end of that bumpy road called Steem is that:

PEOPLE MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE

Each and every unique individual is worth more than all the riches of this earth.

THIS WAS PROVEN.

So as a fellow human being, who travelled along this path with everyone else, enjoying and sometimes maybe not enjoying the all the ditches, bumps and barriers that we all came across along the way, it is without any hesitation that my gratitude for every single persons devotion and contribution is beyond what any words can describe.

Now, as I run my witness on v23, “Hive” I feel as if we are making history in the world of ‘what is and what isn’t possible’.
Not only because we are evolving into something new and better, but because of all the support I see for this expansion.
The HOPE that I see in so many peoples comments, posts and the overall positive energy out there was unfortunately long gone and now it is all back.
HIVE has given new hope to so many people, a new fresh start in which people see an opportunity to move forwards and build upon everything that we have built on in the past years.
It is this HOPE that has given me hope too.
The fact that so many people have that sparkle in their eye again, has given me that sparkle too.
It has been way too long since any of us have seen that “sparkle”, that “twinkle” of HOPE and POSITIVITY.

While many of us witnesses in the past week have given up a lot, each in our own way, some on the coding, others on the business side of things, some by going out and asking people to go and unvote us so as to use those votes to support the efforts against the hostile takeover. Many too have spent days on end, communicating with the people we hang out with and helping to spread the word in the best possible way, with one on one communications. It is now time to start again, from scratch so to say. Even with some of the hiccups that are almost inevitable.

I guess I can talk about many things here, but the post here is not to talk about all the wonderful things that await us on our journey forwards with HIVE, but simply, all I wanted to say was:

THANK YOU

Thank you for bringing that hope and spark back into our lives.

Thank you to each and every person who has been a part of my life in this journey that we used to call Steem and now call HIVE.

Thank you to each and every wonderful unique individual who has made my life so much more meaningful with every day that we were together and I look forward to so many more in the future on HIVE.
