Love your work, but you seem to forget, that "rights" are all just a show, and it is really just a bunch of gang members in costumes with guns; as for pleading to the gang's council members, same result, of course they don't want to hear it. Like Mark Stevens says, act around police as you would act around 5 years olds with real guns, as they specifically don't hire people to be police thugs if their IQ is too high.

Just pretend those guys with the badges and guns just work for the local mafia; pretend they will shoot you, and don't really care about your rights, and don't care about any oath they took, and pretend they just follow orders no matter what the orders are; pretend they can get angry and shoot you if they feel like it and get away with it.. okay, now stop pretending, but realize all those things are still true.
