Prompt Of The Day “Desperate” - Don’t Beg, Empower Yourself!
Don’t waste your energy on a fruitless activity that only leaves you reliant on further scraps and charity from others! Begging for the sake of survival, when desperate, I can understand. When it becomes your number one go to I believe there are better things you could put that energy towards.
Rather than continuously trying to extort peoples sympathies through charity search for the tools to bring yourself out of the position of requiring that charity in the first place!
Even the homeless person on the side of the street has something they could offer to society to alleviate the burden of requiring that charity! The best street cleaners in Victoria are all former homeless people many working for small businesses in a particularly busy district ensuring their own survival through work trade! Some of these people even get tips as onlookers appreciate the effort they put in to keeping the streets clean.
The same idea applies to our wonderful platform Steem! Search out ways for you to contribute in some manner and ultimately you will be rewarded! No one but yourself is putting the brakes on from participating in community but don’t use it as an opportunity to try continue playing upon people sympathies for further charity!
Don’t Beg, Empower Yourself!

Isn’t it though, I’m a great example of how someone with seemingly nothing can add to the collective community with a little determination even if I only started to try solve my own problems of being overlooked it has evolved into so much more!
