Mason jar of life

A long time ago, an old woman named Caterina, grandmother of three children Antonio, Mauro and Luigi, met every day with her children to take care of them and teach her not only those academic activities but also daily life.

One day, she decided to show him something ... she wanted them to notice what she was going to do ...
I look for a giant mason jar, or at least bigger than an average one, could store approximately 8 liters of water, placed it in front of them ... he looked for several rocks, about the size of baseballs and introduced them one by one into the bottom of the big glass jar ... until more large rocks could not enter ...

After doing this, the old woman asks her grandchildren: Was the jar filled?

Antonio, Mauro and Luigi respond at the same time: SIIIIII !!!!
Are you sure? asked Caterina

Immediately, he took out of his wallet 8 smaller rocks, he introduced them delicately in the jar, they fell on the biggest rocks, then he shook the jar delicately ... the smaller rocks reached the bottom passing through the middle of the biggest rocks ...

Caterina asks again: Was the jar filled?

Antonio, Mauro respond at the same time: SIIIIII !!!!
But Luigi said: Completely NO !!!!!

Her grandmother happy for Luigi's response ... she smiles and now proceeds to add a bag of sand to the jar, it's filled the empty spaces that were between the big rocks and the small ones.

Then, Caterina asks again: Was the jar filled?
but, this time Antonio, Mauro and Luigin answer at the same time: NOOOO !!

Very good! "Replied the old woman.

Grandma grabbed several bottles of water and filled the big jar to the top!
And ask:
What does this experience show us?

Mauro immediately answers: That our agenda is never completely filled, that there will always be a place for every activity ...

The grandmother tells him, good analysis my dear grandson, but that is not the truth that is hidden after this experiment

The real moral of this practice are the priorities of life, if you put the big rocks first you can never enter others after ....
So we must all analyze and answer that we need to put in each person's mason jar and in what place ... Health? Family? love? travel? money?

The jar represents the life and the content the important things of each, for many the big rocks should represent the family, the health and the love, and the small rocks the money, the car, the luxuries ...

But, not everyone has the same jar ... You will determine if your life will be full or empty spaces!

So think about the priorities that fill you, that complement you ... the rest is sand and the sand takes the wind!
