Short Poem

Today, my mind is blown away by the breeze of the field,
A silent shadow falls on my eyes in the soft sun.
That vast field of Netrokona University,
It feels like it is telling a story, slowly the night.

Some dreams walk on the green grass,
Some people sit, counting the democracy of life.
Some people in the distance, busy with their own minds,
Yet the surroundings seem strangely calm.

The fatigue of the day is shaken by the touch of the wind,
The words that have accumulated in the mind find a new horizon.
So many thoughts come to mind while sitting in this field,
I want to know myself, in solitude.

A light smile on my face, a little puzzle in my eyes,
How many unknown obstacles there are on the path of life.
Yet this open sky gives a little hope,
It makes all sorrows forgotten, erases despair.

The smell of childhood days mixes with the soil,
Laughter and pain combine to create colors.
This field is like a corner of my mind,
Wherever I get lost, I still find my loved one.

The silent afternoon says, “Don’t stop,”
Give a little bit of land to your dreams.
This field at Netrokona, a gentle touch,
Teaches the mind—Love is the real desire.
