Difference between boyfriend and girlfriend

Hello guys...hope all of you are fine.Today I am going to share a playful thing with you.Its not some thing too much funny bt I like to share it with you.

In our normal sense what we mean by the word "boyfriend"??
-It means a friend who is a boy and is a guy like lover. In a word boyfriend is a person who is someone special to a girl.

In tha same way, we know that a girlfried is also someone special to a boy.

That is to say that a boyfriend or a girlfriend is the person who are not like other usual friend.Basically they are someone special.Some different feelings they have for each other.

All of this are according to our regular thoughts.

But what dictionary actually say about the meaning of boyfriend and grilfriend??
